The Shipping & Business Services Associate is a key member of the Mail Plus team, responsible for delivering high-quality customer service while supporting the full range of store operations.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn all aspects of the business.
The person in this role supports a locally owned business with a loyal customer base. Customers return because they trust the service, appreciate the consistency, and value the personal relationships they’ve built over time. Our employees play an essential role in continuing that experience—bringing a friendly, steady presence to the store and ensuring every customer interaction is handled with care.

Shipping & Packing
Process shipments using the carrier and service option that best meets the customer’s needs for cost, speed, reliability, and package requirements.
Learn specialty packing
Pack all items safely
Mail & Business Services
Support mailbox services
Operate and assist customers with printers, copiers, and scanning
Take passport photos
Provide or obtain notary services
Point of Sale & Systems
Process transactions accurately
Ensure detail in pricing and labeling
Learn systems (PostalMate, copiers, fax)
Follow consistent processes
Team & Store Operations
Share responsibility for all tasks
Support teammates
Follow workflows
Maintain store cleanliness and organization
Support opening/closing routines
Qualifications
Strong customer service orientation

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to lift packages, using a hand truck as needed
