For over 30 years, Ravishing Radish Catering has been a staple in Seattle’s event scene, offering full-service, high-end catering for corporate events, nonprofit galas, weddings, and social gatherings. Based on Capitol Hill, their team operates out of a combined tasting room, warehouse, and kitchen, allowing them to deliver seamless, memorable experiences.

We spoke with Lisbet Halvorsen, the owner and visionary behind Ravishing Radish, to learn more about her business and how partnering with Clarity has helped support its continued success.

Ravishing Radish is built on consistency and community. With many chefs and staff who've been with the company for over a decade, it's more than a workplace—it's a long-term home for professionals who love what they do. “We have a salesperson who’s been with us for 25 years. And many of our chefs and service team have been here for over 10 years,” Lisbet says. “When people land here, they tend to stay.” Their work is evenly split between corporate and nonprofit clients and private events like weddings. But no matter the client, the focus is always on quality, professionalism, and personalized service.

For many years, Ravishing Radish managed their financials internally, but as the company grew, so did the complexity. “We had someone doing our taxes, but the day-to-day bookkeeping was really rough. It was beyond what we could do ourselves, and we did it internally for too long.”

After working with a few other firms that weren’t quite the right fit, Lisbet was referred to Clarity and started working with Linsay and Tina. From the beginning, the experience was different. “They literally brought clarity to everything,” Lisbet says. “They shored up the books and got everything working together. I wish we had found you earlier.”

During slow seasons or cash crunches, Linsay is proactive, not just reporting on the numbers, but helping manage them. “She gives me heads-up on payroll and expenses, talks me through options, and even reaches out to vendors or clients when needed.”

Clarity also helped Ravishing Radish navigate complex COVID relief programs, ensuring their Employee Retention Credit (ERTC) was filed correctly and completely.

Today, Lisbet feels a sense of calm when it comes to her business finances.
